Verizon has decided to offer a pretty interesting Buy One, Get One free (BOGO) deal starting today. In essence, you buy one device from a brand and you can get another one from the same manufacturer for free. There are multiple caveats, as you’d expect, chief of which is the fact that the handset you’re receiving for no cost is the cheaper of the bunch.
So, for example – if you purchase an iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, or X, you can get an iPhone XR for free. Alternatively if you don’t like Apple’s most affordable model, the carrier will give you $750 off any other iPhone.
If you like Samsungs more, how about you get a Galaxy S9, S9+, or Note9 – and then have an S9 on Verizon. Or $800 off an S9+ or Note9. Finally, you also get half off an LG G7 ThinQ or V40 ThinQ and then on top of that you also pay $750 less than usual for a second LG smartphone.
You will need to buy both handsets on a device payment plan (read: installments) and add a new line. The discount will be applied over 24 months, in the form of bill credits to cover those installments.
Verizon is also giving you a free Apple Music subscription if you choose its Beyond Unlimited or Above Unlimited plans. If you pick a Go Unlimited plan, you have six months of Apple Music for free, after which it costs the usual $9.99 per month.
