r/Health – Spending Just 20 Minutes in a Park Makes You Happier. Here’s What Else Being Outside Can Do for Your Health

I hate parks that don’t have toddler equipment but only older kid stuff. I don’t want to be a helicopter parent, but I also don’t have the money for any emergency dental care.

There was a real good park that is close & has a separate toddler structure. But last time we went the bathrooms were shut down due to vandalism.

My son needs access to a bathroom (like everyone his age with a bladder his size).

20 min park visits just lead to being upset for leaving so soon it’s not even worth it. All the set up, getting there & back, plus the leaving tantrum…it’s too much.

On the hunt for another.
